Architect designed holiday accommodation on a private 500 acre Lakeland estate in the Lake District
Exquisitely furnished, spacious 5 star holiday Lets Near Cartmel
Lake Windermere 3 miles | Cartmel 3 miles
At the southern edge of the Lake District National Park lies a very special place. Formerly part of a large historic family estate, Mungeon Farm estate is now eco-sensitively managed by owners John and Kath, who fell in love with the place on a chance visit to the Lake District over 15 years ago.
At the heart of the estate nestles the jewel that is Otter Tarn, a 14 acre trout fishery, also available to guests. Next to the tarn, in an extensive and well-maintained lawned area, are the Lakesteads: six architect-designed 5 star Lakeland retreats - spacious, contemporary and filled with light. No expense has been spared by the owners in making their vision of the perfect Lake District holiday retreat a reality. This self-catering accommodation is simply stunning and will not disappoint.
A barn conversion completes this outstanding collection of holiday lets. Mungeon Barn provides beautifully designed accommodation where traditional cottage features are combined with stylish and contemporary luxury living.
Our beautiful holiday lodges and holiday cottage are located in the Southern Lake District just 3 miles from the delightful village of Cartmel and from Newby Bridge at the foot of Lake Windermere.
