Neddy Cut, a 5 star Lake District Luxury Lodge with wheelchair access
Accessible self catering accommodation Near Cartmel
Neddy Cut is one of six exclusive architect designed Lakesteads, or Lake District holiday lodges, situated in tranquil surroundings in the Lake District National Park.
These luxury holiday lodges are approximately 3 miles from the historic village of Cartmel, a popular tourist attraction famous for its sticky toffee pudding, medieval Priory and local race course. It has several high quality cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Cartmel also regularly pays host to a local Antiques Fair.
Otter Tarn is just 3 miles from Newby Bridge at the foot of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, and the perfection location from which to explore the southern and central Lake District. You can also enjoy a cruise on Lake Windermere, the nearest departure point is Lakeside where you can also take a ride on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
One of the four original Lakesteads to be built, at the time the accommodation was the closest to the Lake and for this reason our commissioned painting featured an otter.
This is the only lodge that has wheelchair access. There is a wheelchair access ramp to the front door. One of the bedrooms has wheelchair access and the ensuite allows full access to both the sink and the shower, including a seat in the shower.
The hot tub is located in a sunny position to the front of the property. The hot tub is accessed by steps down from the decking and is encapsulated in dry stone walls for ultimate privacy.
Looking out to the front the woodland and tarn are to the right with the well-kept park lawns straight ahead.
