With three en suite bedrooms, generous open plan living spaces and beautiful views across the grounds, it offers a relaxed retreat for families and friends looking to explore the southern Lake District.

Just three miles from the historic village of Cartmel and within easy reach of Lake Windermere, Neddy Cut is ideally positioned for days out across the Lakes. Cartmel is renowned for its restaurants, traditional pubs, independent shops, medieval Priory and famous sticky toffee pudding, while Lake Windermere offers scenic cruises, lakeside walks and time on the water.

One of the original Lakesteads at Otter Tarn, Neddy Cut was initially the lodge closest to the lake, inspiring a commissioned painting of an otter that reflects the wildlife of the tarn. The lodge has also been thoughtfully designed for wheelchair accessibility, with level access, an entrance ramp, an accessible bedroom and a fully adapted en suite with level access shower, shower seat and accessible sink.

Outside, the private hot tub occupies a sunny position at the front of the lodge, enclosed by traditional Lakeland dry stone walls for privacy. From the decking and surrounding lawns, guests can enjoy views towards the woodland and partial views of the tarn, creating a peaceful setting for a Lake District escape
